Interested in submitting a proposal?
If you are interested in submitting a proposal to bring a group of at least 15 people in the future, please send an email to . Please allow 2-3 business days for confirmation of receipt.
To be considered:
- You must include your resume (with mailing address and phone number).
- A list of past workshops (with dates, locations and number of attendees). Demonstrated experience is imperative as most of our presenters have led workshops for over a decade.
- A brief summary of the purpose/schedule of your proposed workshop here and the number of participants that you anticipate.

Before submitting your proposal, please note the following:
The Mabel Dodge Luhan House (MDLH) receives several inquiries every week from individuals and organizations wishing to host a group here in the future. Although we wish that we could say yes to everyone who dreams of teaching here, it is necessary for us to thoroughly evaluate every proposal for the limited dates that we have available each year. Almost every group on our schedule returns annually and keeps their dates from year to year.
Due to calendar and space limitations, most proposals must be declined. If MDLH management determines that your proposal is a good fit, then you will be added to the waitlist for future openings. If dates are proposed to you, they are firm and non-negotiable. If you accept them by the deadline given, a signed contract will be required along with a non-refundable deposit of $1,500. There will be an additional $1,500 deposit due in January except for groups booked in Jan/Feb. All deposits
go towards your final invoice.
